CEBU, Philippines ----- Today I received a bouquet of flowers from a class. It got me teary-eyed that I hurriedly rushed to the office before they can notice it. The Hospitality Management Society (HMS) likewise gave a greeting card. The message pierced me:
"There will be no great nurses, amazing engineers, creative chefs, brilliant doctors, smart accountants, genius lawyers if there were no teachers. A teacher is the backbone of all professions. Thank you for your perseverance and determination in imparting your knowledge to us."
Father God, thank you for the gift of teaching and for letting me be part in molding the youth. Use me for your glory! In Jesus' name, Amen!
